BCM Resources stock soars on drill results

August 6, 2026 — BCM Resources Corporation (TSXV: B) shares surged 63% to $0.31 on Thursday after the mineral exploration company said it has encountered more than 550 metres (m) of “strongly mineralized porphyry and intercalated skarn mineralization” from drill hole TK20 at its 100% controlled Thompson Knolls project in Utah.

The company noted that TK20 is located 208m northeast of discovery hole TK8, which intercepted 155.4m of mineralized skarn grading 0.66% copper, 0.12 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 7.4 g/t silver.

“Our interpretation of this hole is that it represents the most highly mineralized drill intercept encountered to date at Thompson Knolls,” BCM Resources CEO Sergei Diakov said in a statement.

He added that upon completion of hole TK20, the company plans to start another hole (TK21) in an area west of where they believe the mineralization projects. TK21 would be a twin hole to TK5, which was drilled in 2022. BCM said the bottom of TK5 encountered magnetic skarn mineralization like that observed in TK20.

TK20 is currently at a depth of 1,238.4m. The company plans to continue drilling TK20 further, given the continued presence of “strong mineralization” at the current bottom of the hole. BCM also stated that the nature of this alteration and veining suggests TK20 has encountered the high-temperature core of a large, strong porphyry mineralizing system.

Thompson Knolls is a porphyry copper-gold-silver-molybdenum project located in Utah’s Great Basin. BCM is led by Sergei Diakov, with a PhD in Economic Geology, who had previously assembled and led the BHP exploration team to the discovery of the giant Oyu Tolgoi deposit in Mongolia.

The company’s strategy is to capitalize on successful exploration drilling, building the TK project into an economic Tier 1 porphyry copper-gold deposit, amenable to future development by major companies.
